This is Port Arthur's newest Radio station, KSAP - 96.9 FM/LP "The Breeze."   Broadcasting from studios located at 300 East 5th Street in downtown Port Arthur, Texas.  KSAP serves all Jefferson County, including Port Acres, Groves, Nederland, Port Neches and our world wide audience via the web on www.ksapthebreeze.org 

KSAP "The Breeze" is a low powered listener supported public community radio station that was designed to promote educational and self help programs opportunities for the citizens of the Golden Triangle.

In addition to our many talk-back radio programs which are focused on community events and services, KSAP also have music programs that ranges from Rap to Rock, Cajun to Christian and R&B to Smooth Jazz.

Create - Develop - Promote

In September of 2000, Truth & Education Corp. was created to provide charitable assistance to the needy, design programs that championed transparency and individual accountability. Also, to engage in other charitable and educational tax exempt activities. When successful, develop a communication network that would encourage local and worldwide participation - "Radio." The new KSAP-96.9 FM/LP - "The Breeze" radio station, began broadcasting in September 2004 providing our local communities with valuable information that has helped to empower citizens educationally, spiritually, economically, and socially.


"The Breeze Radio" 

"The Breeze Radio" has designed much of its programming around the Port Arthur Community, which is very diverse and made up of Cajuns, African Americans, Hispanics, Pakistanis, Vietnamese, Indians, and Whites with a diversity of religions including Buddhist, Protestants, Baptist, Jews, Catholics, and Muslims. The station airs over 3000 hours of programming each year, 50% of which is locally produced, to highlight the diversity of the community and to promote racial and religious harmony, self-esteem, and awareness. Topics covered during the station's daily newscast, in its public affairs programming and through its public service announcements are heavily targeted to our diverse local audience. with 100 watts of operating power, the station reaches all or part of five counties in the southeast region of Texas and the southeast region of Louisiana. Our listening audience of more than 300,000 people weekly is treated to a mix of news, locally originated public affairs and a host of traditional and contemporary Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Zydeco, Latin and Vietnamese programming 24 hours a day. It is designed to be a special service to our local diverse community for entertainment, information, and educational purposes and especially for the development of our youth in the music industry, which has deep roots in our community
